Hi, my name is Stephan Alheim and I’m a trainer in the Chicagoland area with over 10 years experience working with a variety of different clients. I believe in making people healthier all around and building them up, not breaking them down. Too many people start an exercise program and end up injured. I do my best to not let that happen. I know that each person is unique and has their own challenges to deal with. Sometimes these challenges could be mobility issues, old injuries or surgeries and other times it may just be motivation or not knowing what to do in the gym or how to do it correctly. No matter where you’re at, I can meet you at your level and progress from there.

Here is an example, lets say you came to me and said I want to lose 30 pounds. I would help you accomplish that goal, but I’d also take measurements or have your body fat tested because at the same time you’re losing weight we would also be building muscle. I’d also add in a movement screen so as we are training we could be working on all of your mobility issues as well. I like to focus on mobility because every mobility issue a person has could mean an injury in the future. I’m also big on perfect technique. Which means that every exercise I show you, I’m going to make sure your doing it right. If you perform an exercise incorrectly, you may not hurt yourself on the first few or maybe even a hundred reps or so, but over time you can and I’d rather just eliminate that right at the start. Quality not quantity.

Whatever your goals may be I’m here to help. I’m available for personal training, small group training, boot camps, fascial stretch therapy, and I also do custom 8-week workout routines.

One last thing to know about me is that I’m extremely passionate about my career and it shows when you work with me and in my certifications. I’m always learning and keeping up to date on the latest research in the industry. I’m also a bit goofy and try to make fitness as fun as possible while still getting a great workout in. Honestly, if I didn’t have to pay bills I’d do this job for free!
